Midrand Reporter journalist, Sphiwe Masilela, captured our BSC live session at World Corrosion Awareness Day last month. In an article titled “Countering corrosion on aging infrastructure”, Masilela wrote:
“In an era of aging infrastructure due to rust, the Corrosion Institute of Southern Africa hosted a World Corrosion Awareness Day at their premises in Glen Austin on April 24. More than 200 professionals descended on the event to address critical challenges under the theme, mastering the fundamentals of corrosion control – the ABCs of corrosion control.”
We were honoured to host a panel of corrosion experts in our Bite-Sized Corrosion Live session, 60 years of pipeline corrosion protection in South Africa, pictured in the newspaper clipping below.
We are excited to continue to share expert knowledge with the broader corrosion community in our upcoming June Bite-Sized Corrosion series. Stay tuned for more information.
